Description
North Georgia Wildlife and Safari Park is seeking to add to their leadership team in the position of Visitor Experience Assistant Director. This is a new position added due to our growth and abundant opportunities. This position will be working directly with the Visitor Experience and Education Director along with the departments team leaders. This position is responsible for working with the Visitor Experience Team, helping train and integrate new team members, customer service, assisting with gift shop, problem solving, assisting with online bookings, along with helping grow a developing department of our facility. This department is responsible for connecting guests with the animals in our care through tours, experiences, and encounters.
Education and Pre-requisites
– 2-4 years of leadership experience. Overseeing and training team members
– Overseeing the park as efficiently as possible while maintaining high guest services standards.
– Experience with online booking systems or strong computer skills to pick up system quickly
– Customer Service experience is a plus.
– Background in animal education and outreach
– Ability to work in all weather and on holiday’s and weekends.
– Desire to want to learn and grow
Compensation and benefits
Pay is negotiable and based on experience. This position is full time at 40 hours a week.
