Description
Social Media & Communications Internship (with photography opportunities)
Purpose
Social Media Interns play an important role in creating a window into sanctuary life for our donors and supporters while allowing our wild cat residents to live Wild At Heart. Social Media Advocacy Interns work closely with the entire Development Team and report directly to the Communication Specialist to learn about and help support fundraising efforts to achieve our goals and further our mission.
This one-in-a-lifetime opportunity is an unpaid internship that provides free furnished housing and $70/week food stipend. This fulltime Internship is six months long and is ideal for college students or recent graduates who are interested in learning about social media management and how to use it to advocate for an important cause.
This internship has a strong focus on learning and understanding social media management as an advocacy and donor engagement tool. Approximately 70% of overall time is spent posting content and responding to comments and messages on our social media channels. Social Media interns with photography experience will spend the remainder of their time documenting our wild cat residents in their natural, free-roaming habitats.
Check out our social media channels to see the kind of content that you’ll be helping us create!
