Description
This is a hands-on experience caring for all types of exotic animals; bottle feeding our babies and caring for 20 different species of animals. llamas, camels, horses, donkeys, bobcats, lemurs, skunks, are just a few that reside in our zoo. We are located at the Illinois/Wisconsin border in a tourist resort area. These internships must be filled immediately for the May-October 2015 season.Responsibilities include care, cleaning and maintaining our animal residents. You will present our animals to our visitors and provide behind the scenes support. If you love exotic animals this is the internship for you.

Public contact and tours is a major portion of this internship
Compensation and benefits
Because of our hands-on program and training many of our interns have gone on to full time employment at Parks and Zoos all over the country.
Dorm-style housing, and laundry facilities are provide.
