AAZK Announces 2024 Chapter Recharter Process – Information, Recharter Documents, & Helpful Resources

Welcome to the 2024 Recharter process!

The 2024 Recharter Process kick off email was sent to all Chapters on Monday, January 15, 2024! The email includes the below information and links to the Recharter Documents and helpful Resources to support Chapters as they complete the 2024 Recharter Process. 

New! Recharter correspondence email address:
The NEW! recharter@aazk.org email address that will be used for all recharter correspondence, questions, officer membership status verification requests, requests for recharter electronic payment invoices and submitting completed 2024 recharter documents, sections 2-5 (if you choose to submit PDF documents via email). 
 
The 2024 Deadline:
All recharter documents & fees must be received by the AAZK National Office by March 15, 2024 whether you submit PDF documents electronically via email to: recharter@aazk.org with payment through electronic invoice or send printed copies via US Mail with check payment attached. The March 15, 2024 deadline is firm and a $275.00 fee will be assessed on a Chapter if the documents and payment are received by the AAZK National Office after March 15, 2024. 
 
Helpful Resources:
Our goal is to ensure the 2024 recharter process is efficient for you! We have several helpful resources available to assist as you complete your Chapter Recharter documents:
  1. ARC has done an excellent job of creating and maintaining the AAZK Chapter Recharter Instruction Manual v.2024 as well as a step-by-step video tutorial, AAZK Chapter Recharter Guide . Both resources will be available after January 15, 2024 on the AAZK Member Resource Center under the Chapter Operation Resources tab. We highly recommend that you watch (or rewatch as a refresher) the video tutorial prior to starting your recharter paperwork. 
  2. ARC will be hosting “Recharter Virtual Assistance Webinars” to answer questions, review forms and provide additional support to Chapters during the recharter process. There are 3 dates to choose from: 2/8, 2/13, 2/23 and all webinars are scheduled to begin at 8:30p EST. Please sign up here!

Returning completed Recharter Documents & Payments
  • E-mail: recharter@aazk.org in PDF format (one file preferred) with electronic invoice payment (please email recharter@aazk.org to request an electronic invoice and online payment instructions, please include the total amount due in your email request).
  • US Mail: AAZK Attention: Scott Soldat-Valenzuela,  2820 S. Alma School Road, Suite 18, PMB 2057 Chandler, Arizona 85286. Please include a check payable to AAZK for the total amount due with your printed documents.
 Both return options must be receive by the AAZK National Office by March 15, 2024 to avoid a $275 late fee.
