Description
Wild Wonders is a small wildlife education center(ZAA Acredited) located in North San Diego County, CA. We specialize in onsite and offsite conservation education programs .We are offering hands on education to students wishing to go into the zoological field. Our 3-4 month internships are 24-32 hours per week and encompass: diets and nutrition, behavioral observation and positive reinforcement condition, husbandry and animal management, safety procedures, and learning/participating in onsite/offsite programs
Education and Pre-requisites
must be currently enrolled or recently graduated from a zoological focused program.
Must be physically fit as our springs and summers are hot and we have hills, dirt pathways.
clean driving record.
Please check with your institution for college credits prior.
Compensation and benefits
this is unpaid although a small stipend will be offered.
No housing is available.
