Description
Central Florida Animal Reserve (CFAR) is a big cat and wildlife sanctuary housing tigers, lions, leopards and cougars. We are located in beautiful east Osceola county in east St. Cloud. This non-profit facility serves big cats that would not otherwise have a home. We are on a mission to preserve these magnificent animals and act as stewards for their care and well being.
CFAR is seeking motivated, dedicated and passionate interns interested in learning and gaining experience in all aspects of animal care. Experiences achieved include but not limited to; big cat husbandry, enclosure maintenance, diet prep, enrichment, behavior training, record keeping and more.
Interns are required to work a minimum of 2 8 hr shifts per week for a 16 week period. No weekend shifts available.
CFAR operates under a strict hands off/protected contact policy.
