Description

•Planning, preparing, and teaching classes for a diverse population
•Providing direction to other staff and volunteers
•Completing routine safety checks
•Maintaining effective relationships with other staff and the public
•Completing all required trainings including CPR, AED, First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention, and Department Emergency Response and Procedures

Education and Pre-requisites

Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent
Experience: Three (3) months experience in a subject matter that is relevant to the type of instruction provided.
Licenses or Certificates: Possession of a Red Cross First Aid and CPR certificate may be required.
Necessary Special Qualifications: Special Certifications/Licenses for specialized subject or skills may be required. Other special qualifications may apply.

Compensation and benefits

This position is covered under the Living Wage Policy and the hourly rate will be adjusted to $22.98 per hour.
