Description

Out of Africa Wildlife Park is a privately owned zoo in Camp Verde, Arizona. We have a large reptile collection including venemous and nonvenemous species such as: spectacled caiman, king cobras, large pythons/boas, and various monitor species. The Reptile Keeper opening is a full-time position that requries the ability to work in various weather conditions, lift up to 50lbs, and have a common understanding of reptile husbandry. We are looking for a hard-working invidual with a positive, easygoing attitude.

Education and Pre-requisites

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Zoology, Herpetology, Wildlife Management, or other related fields is preferred.

Basic knowledge of reptile husbandry and handling is required. Experience with venemous species is not required, but preferred.

Compensation and benefits

This is a full-time position that offers sick days/paid holidays after a 3-month trial period and vacation time after 1 year of employment. Health benefits are not offered at this time.
