Description

Must be able to follow instructions well, self-motivated and quick learner.

Applicant must have excellent organizational and cleaning skills. Must be able to work independently and in a small group setting. Must be able to guide and teach interns assigned to him/her and show good leadership skills. Must be able to lift 50 lb and work in all inclement weather conditions (heat/rain/cold). Must be a team player and willing to help in all areas of the zoo. Requires attention to detail and applicant needs excellent communication and documentation skills.

Education and Pre-requisites

-B.A. in Biological/ Animal Science or zoological experience equivalent

-Animal Care experience in zoological or veterinary environment (preferred)

Compensation and benefits

Based on hourly rate varies between $7.25-$12 an hour, opportunities for annual bonuses. Full Time Position
