Description

Out of Africa is looking for 1 knowledgable applicant to fill on open position in the very active, very hands-on, reptile department. This individual should be outgoing to ensure animals recieve the best quality of care at Arizona’s only full contact facility. Must be comfortable or quickly gain comfort handling giant snakes, large lizards and monitors. Must be willing to face extreme weather conditions from 100+ degree heat to snow and sleet. Must be comfortable or gain comfort speaking infront of large crowds, driving tours and operating large vehicles. The position is demanding and applicants are expected to be hardworking, self-sufficient and driven. There is a probationary period of 3 months to ensure the applicant is a proper fit. This is a full-time position.

Education and Pre-requisites

College degree is encouraged but not required. MUST have BASIC knowledge of reptile handling and care.

Compensation and benefits

Starting off at $12.00 an hour, 80 hours a week, with the opportunity to advance. Paid holiday, vacation and sick days offered after probation period.
