Description
Looking for a manager to oversee a large collection of reptiles and plan daily schedules for staff. Daily care and maintenance of habitats for the various reptile species at the park. These duties include preparing diets, maintaining, landscaping and cleaning various habitats. We have a variety of reptiles throughout the park which include tegus, monitors, pythons, boas, and some venomous. We are responsible for the parks giant snake show that is held every day at 2:15. Being a small park if needed we also help with public transportation around the park for the guests and there is also an opportunity to learn how to do an hour-long tour for guests.
Education and Pre-requisites
3-5+ years reptile experience preferred
College degree recommended but not required with the right experience.
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Able to use power tools
Venomous experience required
Basic knowledge of word and excel
Proficient in public speaking
Able to work outside in any weather condition
Compensation and benefits
Pay will be discussed in an interview and is based off experience
