Description
The Red Riding Hood Rescue Project is a 501c3 Wolfdog rescue in Middletown, OH. We are a USDA facility and we are looking for another live in caretaker. This is not a paid position but it does include free housing. (Utilities are shared.)
Duties include daily animal care: feeding, scooping, water/pools, maintenance plus one volunteer day each weekend. Caretakers have 2 days off a week and can have outside jobs as long as they don’t interfere with animal care. We follow all USDA guidelines.
The living quarters include a large private bedroom on the second floor of the farm house and a large private bathroom. Communal living space downstairs. We are on a 20.5 acre beautiful farm, certified forest, situated in rural Ohio but close to 2 major cities: Cincinnati and Dayton.
One of our much loved caretakers is moving for her job and we are looking for her replacement in Nov/Dec.
*Drug testing and background check may be required

A degree in animal sciences preferred but not required. This person should love animals, be passionate about animal care, and want to be involved with all aspects of their wellbeing including enrichment and training.
