ZooWorld Zoological Park is a 5 acre facility located just minutes from the white sandy beaches of Florida’s Emerald Coast.
Seeking highly motivated and innovative individual to fill a Zoo Keeper 2 position.
This position will care for a variety exotic animals in a fast paced dynamic environment.
As part of the ZooWorld team, you will be required to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays, and perform highly physical work on a daily basis.

Education and Pre-requisites

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Good interpersonal and communications skills.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent time management skills in a fast paced environment.
Must be able to interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Must be able to learn and integrate information, knowledge, and direction quickly.
Must be reliable and show initiative.
Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
Bachelor’s degree or college coursework in relevant biological field or equivalent.
1 year or more at an animal care facility working with a variety of animals
Experience with public presentations prefered.

Compensation and benefits

Starting pay is $10.25/hour

Health insurance, paid vacation and paid sick days available after completion of probationary period.
