Description
Education and Pre-requisites
We prefer canidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree in zoology, animal behavior or biology, who are looking to gain experience with exotic felids and endangered species.
Preference may be given to candidates who have completed previous internships.
Requirements –
* Ability to lift and carry 40-60 pound boxes
* Must work Holidays
* Ability to stand/walk 6-8 hours a day
* Must be self motivated
* Must be a team player
* Ability to work in the Florida heat in the summer
* Must have their own reliable car
This is a six days a week position – 40-50 hours . Start and end dates of the internship are flexible.
Compensation and benefits
$50 per week stipend and shared housing is provided
