Description

Candidate will be responsible for daily animal husbandry including diet preparation, enclosure cleaning, implementing enrichment and operant conditioning programs, onsite educational presentations to the public and area schools, assist with some habitat building and annual fundraisers.

Education and Pre-requisites

Minimum of two (2) years of related studies in biology, zoology or animal science
Ability to interface with the public
Must have valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Must be willing to work Holidays and in inclement weather
Must be able to list 50 lbs

Compensation and benefits

This is an unpaid position but free onsite housing including utilities, phone (limited) internet and a monthly stipend is provided.
