Description

This is a unique hands-on experience caring for all types of exotic animals; from bottle feeding our babies to caring for adult species. Llamas, horses, mini-donkeys, bobcats, lemurs, wallabies, foxes, wolves, mini pigs and many more! Internship are available from June 2021 until February 2022. Public contact and tours is a major portion of this position. Many of our interns have gone on to full time employment at Zoos. You will be responsible for preparing a narrative to present to our guests. You must be a dedicated individual to the safety and well-being of our animals. Dorm style housing with laundry facilities are provided. We are located in a resort town at the Illinois Wisconsin border.

Education and Pre-requisites

High school graduate. Interested in the well-being of our animals

Compensation and benefits

Dorm style living – two days a week off.
