Description

The curator would work closely with the Director of Animal Care and the other members of the zoos leadership staff. This position oversees the Exotic Animal Care department of the North Georgia Zoo. It is a working position that also supervises animal keepers, carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with our policies and USDA regulations.

Education and Pre-requisites

A strong animal care background is required along with previous supervisory experience. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position is required to learn all aspects of the animal care areas. For more info please visit our website.

Compensation and benefits

Pay consummate with experience
$7.25 – $12 hr
