Description
responsible for general husbandry of our ambassador collection of 120 animals as well as overseeing interns, volunteers, Behavioral enrichment, enclosure maintenance, providing educational entertaining programs onsite and offsite with ambassador animals and promoting the mission of the organization. will also be husbandry training for minor medical support, and utilizing positive reinforcement conditioning for crate, leash training etc.
Education and Pre-requisites
a degree in zoology or related field preferred. Must have a minimum of of year full time experience with presentations, handling and keeping in a professional setting.
Must have clean driving record and in good physical shape. Must have ability to work in hot weather conditions. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be available any of the 7 days of the week including holidays
Compensation and benefits
starts at 13/hr plus program bonuses
