Description of position: Regular full-time, responsible for design and coordination of all formal and informal zoo education programs on and offsite, interpretive program and displays, impact evaluations, and supervises part-time education staff.
Education and Pre-requisites
Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in zoology, environmental education, natural resources interpretation, or a related field; two years of paid experience in developing and implementing educational programs, and interpretive displays, preferably in a Zoo setting; one year of experience in a supervisory position.
Compensation and benefits
$2,561 – $2,715 monthly, competitive insurance & retirement benefits
