We are a fun and diverse team of people who love animals! Our trainers, kennel staff, cleaners and office staff all work together to create a safe environment for the dogs that are training with us.

Working as a Dog Training Supervisor/Lead:
Our Dog Trainers are the backbone of the organization. Trainers work with a large variety of dogs everyday in a fast-paced environment, learning our renowned training techniques, cooperating as a team to accomplish training goals, and assisting in the care of the dogs. If you would love working with dogs in the beautiful outdoors, this is the job for you!

Our Dog Training Supervisors and Leads coordinates our team to accomplish the training goals for each day efficiently.

We are looking for people with animal-sense and leadership skills to help lead our training team. Previous experience working with animals is a plus, but is not required, as we are happy to train the right person. Professional experience as a leader is also not required, if your leadership skills come from other places.

Leads and Supervisors share responsibilities, Supervisors being distinguished from Leads by their experience and by the responsibility to be available to respond and come in outside of scheduled hours when needed.

Duties:
Working with a team to train dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments
Coordinating a team of dog trainers to manage the tasks for each day
Assisting with the care of the dogs
Speaking to clients regarding their dog’s training
Working with clients to enable them to continue training at home

Education and Pre-requisites

Required:
Must be very comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments
Motivation to lead an effective team
Desire to create a positive working environment
Ability to work well with others as a team
Ability to work and lead efficiently without direct supervision
Great communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Flexible schedule – available to work as early as 6am and as late as 11pm
Holiday availability
Have a working cell phone
Have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Preferred:
Previous experience working with dogs, but will happily train the right person.
Previous management or supervising experience, but will accept leadership skills wherever they come from.

Compensation and benefits

Rate of Pay:
Compensation starts at $17/hour and up depending on experience. Pay raises are based on reliability, ability to complete tasks efficiently, and taking on additional responsibility, not on time spent working with us. So bring a good attitude and work ethic, and we are happy to increase pay correspondingly!
