Description
Wildwood Wildlife Park Zoo & Safari is announcing the immediate opening of a full-time position. The position will be responsible for the care, enclosure cleaning, diet preparation, and enrichment for ambassador and other species. The candidate should be comfortable working free contact with animals, public presentations with and without microphones and daily one-on-one guest interactions with an exceptional ability to interact with zoo visitors. The position will also be cross trained to work in other animal areas of the zoo.
Education and Pre-requisites
•Must be 19 years of age or older.
•Valid WI driver’s license with good driving record.
•A degree in animal science, biology, zoology or related field is preferred.

QUALIIFICATAIONS:
Must posses ability to:
•Work independently in the absence of supervision.
•Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
•Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
•Have proficiently in performing assigned duties.
•Must be outgoing and willing to talk to many different types of people.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND HEALTH:
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl: and talk or hear.
•Must be able to lift over 60 pounds without injury.
•Must maintain current tetanus vaccination within 10 years and proof of a negative TB within the current year.
