Description

We are accepting internship applications for our winter and spring programs that focus heavily on animal care and husbandry. We are looking for individuals that are dedicated to learning and getting the most out of their internship.
We house over 40+ specials of mammals, birds and reptiles – ranging from reindeer and camels to otters, wolves, and hyenas.

Education and Pre-requisites

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be a recent college graduate.
Must be capable of the physical requirements to work in a zoo setting (ie. lifting 50 pounds, bending, stooping, etc.).
Must be able to work with and without direct supervision.
Must be able to follow oral and written direction.

Compensation and benefits

Stipend and housing.
