Prepares and maintains records for all aspects of animal management. Supervises, trains, monitors staff and participates in the care of elephants.

This opportunity of a lifetime provides the successful candidate the chance to build a team of caring professionals and create a program of elephant care prior to the arrival of a group of elephants, and prior to the opening of a new, modern state-of-the-art exhibit.

This new exhibit, which will be one of the largest and most complex in North America, has a footprint of over 7 acres. Features include, but are not limited to, an 18,000 sq. foot barn with natural substrate stalls and family room. The barn also features a hydraulic RERD for enhanced care for the elephants.
