Description
Full time Keeper needed to perform high levels of husbandry skills with our exotic bird collection. Seeking an experienced bird trainer to create and develop a training program leading up to a flight show and further behaviors for demonstrations.
Education and Pre-requisites
Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Bio-Science, or be working towards a pertinent degree. The equivalent is preferred in experience if a Bachelor’s has not been obtained.
*An extensive amount of experience in training exotic birds is needed.
Compensation and benefits
This is a full-time position, including health insurance and an IRA match after a year. After 90 days of employment full-time keepers can participate in our accidental wellness plan through Aflac. Pay is based on experience and will be discussed during the interview process. An immediate start date is preferred. The second part of the interview process is a 2-day working interview at the Wildlife Park.
