Trees for You and Me Program
The American Association of Zoo Keepers, Inc. (AAZK) has teamed with Polar Bears International (PBI) and the Arbor Day Foundation in a new program called Trees for You and Me Program. For each $1.00 contributed, one tree will be planted in one of our nation’s forests. Help AAZK and PBI by planting trees in our nation’s forests to help fight global warming and improve the habitat of polar bears and many other species.Through the natural process of photosynthesis, trees absorb CO2 and other pollutant particles, then store the carbon and emit pure oxygen. You can help clear the air and cool the earth by planting trees. Every tree you plant today will help replace trees lost to fire, insects, or disease. Join us as we help replenish our nation’s abundant forests. For more information on the program or to donate please go to: http://arborday.org/aazk.
